The University of the Philippines, as one of the participating universities in the ASEAN Universities Network (AUN) is pleased to announce the AUN_ACTS (ASEAN Credit Transfer System) Student Mobility Program (SMP). The said program aims: (1) to benefit the students in ASEAN universities in obtaining academic experiences in overseas institutions; and (20 to facilitate recognition and transfer of credits for courses taken by the students in participating Universities to degree programs of Home Universities (in our case, the UP System or UPS).
In line with this, may request you to encourage your students (both undrgraduate and graduate) to participate in this program. Please refer to the attached protocol on the availment of this program.
Please note that the number of students to be supported by the UPS per year will be determined at the system level.  The total projected expenses of these students should not exceed the yearly UPS budget of PhP2.0M. In addition, the only country member of AUN, with more or less the same Academic Calendar as that of UPS, is Thailand. This makes Thailand as the preferred destination for the AUN-ACTS-SMP studentgrantees from UPS, in order not to have significant disruptions in our students’ study plans.
For your immediate action.
Please check folder for details, Kindly advertise to your students.
